Getting to Myoko Kogen

Myoko Kogen is located about an hour from Nagano Station and can be accessed in several ways, depending on where you're coming from. From Tokyo – Narita International Airport

  • Nagano Snow Shuttle Bus services are direct to Myoko Kogen and leave in the morning and evening daily and are of great value. They make the transfer easy after your flight, so sit back and enjoy the scenery of Tokyo and then the mountains as you head to Myoko Kogen
  • Nagano VIP Shuttle a driver will meet you with a sign with your on it at the arrival section of Narita Airport and will then take you to your accommodation in Myoko Kogen. Shared or private options are available.
  • Myoko Kogen can be accessed via the Japan Railway (JR) from Narita Airport, you will need to catch two trains, the first train is the Narita Express to Tokyo Station and then change to the Asama Shinkansen (Bullet Train), when you arrive in Nagano (the last stop) turn left after you exit the bullet train ticket gate and head to the ground floor to catch the bus to Myoko Kogen, or a private transfer can be arranged. Alternatively, you can catch the JR Shin-Etsu Line to Myoko Kogen. For train timetables and fares visit Hyperdia

From Tokyo- Haneda Airport

  • Nagano Snow Shuttle Bus service from Haneda Airport is direct to Myoko Kogen and leaves daily in the morning and is of great value, making transfers easy after your flight, where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic views of the city and then the mountains as you make your way to Myoko Kogen. 
  • Nagano VIP Shuttle a driver will meet you with a sign with your name on it at the arrival section of Haneda Airport and will then take you directly to your accommodation in Myoko Kogen. Shared or private options are available.
  • From Haneda, catch the monorail to Hamamatsucho Station and then transfer to the Japan Railway train (JR Line) to Tokyo Station, and then change to the Asama Shinkansen (Bullet Train), when you arrive in Nagano (the last stop) turn left after you exit the bullet train ticket gate and head to the ground floor to catch the bus to Myoko Kogen or a private transfer can be arranged. Alternatively, you can catch the JR Shin-Etsu Line to Myoko Kogen. For train timetables and fares go to Hyperdia 

From Tokyo – City

  • From Tokyo Station catch the Asama Shinkansen (Bullet Train), when you arrive in Nagano (the last stop) turn left after you exit the bullet train ticket gate and head to the ground floor to catch the bus to Myoko Kogen or a private transfer can be arranged. Or alternatively, you can catch the local train Shinano Testudo Kita Shinano Line and then take a taxi to your accommodation in Myoko Kogen. For train timetables and fares visit Hyperdia

FROM Kansai Airport (Osaka) / Kyoto

  • From Kansai Airport (Osaka) and Kyoto, take a bullet train to Nagoya Station and transfer onto the Shinano Wideview Express train to Nagano Station, when you arrive in Nagano turn left after you exit the bullet train ticket gate and head to the ground floor to catch the bus to Myoko Kogen and a private transfer can be arrange. Or alternatively, you can catch the local JR Shin-Etsu Line to Myoko Kogen and then take a taxi to your accommodation. For train timetables and fares visit Hyperdia

From Other Ski Resorts

  • The Nagano Snow Shuttle Bus services direct to Myoko Kogen from other ski resorts leave 2-3 times daily depending on the ski resort you wish to travel from, these are of great value and make it easy for you and your family.
  • Nagano VIP Shuttle Private Charters are only available from other ski resorts. A driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and will then take you to your accommodation in Myoko Kogen.
