Manza Onsen ski resort is well known for its powder snow and healing onsens. The snow is dry and powdery with regular snow falls from December through until the end of March or early April depending on the snowfall.
Manza Onsen is only a medium sized resort, with some great off piste areas within the resort which you can access. All levels of skiers and boarders can enjoy the powder snow, with family courses to advanced courses, offering something for everyone.
Manza Onsen is normally open from 8:30am until 8pm, with night skiing operating from 5pm. The resort features a vertical terrain of 350 metres, with the resort mainly a skier's paradise.
The resort has 9 courses and dedicates 40% to beginners, 40% to intermediates and 20% to advanced skiers and boarders. The longest course at Manza Onsen is a leg burning 2 kilometres and the steepest slope is 32 degrees.
The resort has 1 quad lift, and 4 pair lifts to help you get around the resort. Manza Onsen also offers the “Manza Snow Field” near the base and features a kids sledding
course, a tubing course and an area for beginners to practice. The resort also
features a “Mini Mini Park” which is located near Number 5 lift towards the top
area of the resort and features kickers, waves, boxes and spines.
Beginner Courses include; Prince Slope, Fourth Forest
Course, 5th Slope. Intermediate Courses include; Shakuder Course,
Underwear Couse, Mountain Slope, Manzan Mountain Forest Couse. Advanced Courses
include; 4th Slope and the Kuroyu Course. Manza Onsen has family
courses to advanced powder courses, there is something for everyone at Manza
Onsen ski resort.
