Details

Kiroro boasts over 120 hectares of skiable terrain, with 21 diverse courses for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers and boarders, with some of the best powder snow in the area. The mountain is serviced by 9 lifts which includes a 6 seat gondola and 6 high speed detachable lifts, 5 of which are hooded to keep you warm while moving up the mountain.

The longest run is 4,050 metres long from the top of the Asari Gondola with fantastic views of the valley and the nearby mountains, and the steepest slope is 37 degrees with a vertical terrain of 610 metres. The resort dedicates 38% of its courses to beginners, 29% to intermediates and 33% to advanced skiers and snowboarders. The lifts are open from 9am until 7:30pm, with night skiing operating on selected dates throughout the season. The resort also has a terrain park with kickers, rails and boxes situated on Yoichi course close to the mountain centre.

The resort is spread across two mountains; Mt Nagamine and Mt Asari and the third mountain, Mt Yoichi with a peak of 1488 metres accessible by hike, giving you access to some great back country areas, ideal for advanced skiers looking for more powder. Child are also well catered to at Kiroro with a ski academy, from 3 years of age, where your little ones can be looked after all day, giving adults plenty of time to enjoy powder skiing or snowboarding, tree runs and backcountry areas.
